In Yekaterinburg, near the offices of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus held a rally of solidarity with the Belarusian anarchist
Submitted by Редакция on 19 October, 2010 - 19:24 Today in the 17-40 anarchists and human rights activists in Yekaterinburg and Tyumen gathered near the Mission of Belarus to Yekaterinburg to protest harassment of Belarusian anarchist and social activist. Participants of the rally stretched the 10-meter banner in the Belarusian language "Will belaruskim anarhistam!" And distributed leaflets. Leaflets include information on prosecution and detention of activists in Belarus and called for solidarity with the prisoners. Recall at this point in the Minsk detention center for about 1.5 months contained Dzyadok Nicholas and Alexander Frantskevich.Dzyadok accused of involvement in anti-militarist actions, Frantskevich - in an attack on a police station. Both actions were symbolic in nature and gravity of the charges (disorderly conduct in a group of people - up to seven years in prison) is clearly not consistent with the nature of protest events.
Go to the protesters in Yekaterinburg, which lasted 40 minutes, four times approached the police in a different composition and required to show approval. Notice of the action was sent to the administration of the mail notification, and inspection have been forced to settle for an acquaintance with the mail dispatch receipts.Despite the non-obviousness of the situation, the police, well-trained local human rights activists, decided not to detain anyone.
The action took place during the Days of united action in support of the arrested anarchists Belarus.
Photos will be published shortly.
