Presentation in Prosfygika, Athens: Repression against anarchists and anti-fascists in Russia

Over the summer in Prosfygika, there will be a series of events about the different struggles all over the world of the internationalist comrades, collectives and organizations that contributed to the victory and defense of Prosfygika. The events will happen both in Athens as also as an online livestream.
After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more and more anarchists and anti-fascists have ended up in prison for resisting the war and the regime in Russia. Who are the anarchists and anti-fascists imprisoned for anti-war and other political activities? What initiatives exist to support them? Are social movements in Russia still possible despite increasing repression?
Antti Rautiainen lived in Moscow from 1999 to 2012 and participated in anti-fascist and anarchist movements until he was deported. Since his deportation, he has remained active in supporting anarchist prisoners in Russia.
