Greece: a demonstration in the thirty-seventh anniversary of the uprising of students at Polytech

November 17, 2010. 37 years after the uprising at Athens Polytechnic University, in all of Greece have been numerous demonstrations. Before beginning the demonstration anarchists and other youth was attacked PASP (youth division PASOK - Social Democratic Party in power), forcing them to retreat and follow a demonstration on adjacent streets. At the same time PAME (syndicalist branch of the "Communist" party KKE) brisk pace (almost running) proceeded on a parallel street to be ahead of the demonstration and to lead it, as they usually do.

Anarchist anti-authoritarian forces numbered more than 6000 people.

The building of the U.S. embassy police attacked a demonstration, trying to stop the anarchists and the left blocks, using tear gas and stun grenades. The clashes occurred in the surrounding streets, and later in Exarcheia.It should be noted that during the demonstration and after the above Exarcheia constantly circling two helicopters with searchlights, thereby contributing to the promotion of the police force.

More than 100 people were detained and 22 arrested.15 of them face prosecution, and they accuse the fact that they hid their faces («hooded law»), others are accused of minor offenses. Mytilene: Demonstration of 300 people.

Kavala: Demonstration of 200 people and an attack on the youth branch of PASOK.

Xanthi: Demonstration of the 600 people - one of the most massive demonstrations in the revolt at the Athens Polytechnic University of the ever held in the city.
