May 13 — Birthday of Tyumen Case Defendant Nikita Oleynik

He will turn 31 years old. According to the support group, this is already the fourth birthday he is spending in captivity.

Nikita is an anarchist and anti-fascist from Surgut. Together with another defendant in the “Tyumen case,” Roman Paklin, he helped create the libertarian library Storm Petrel, which collected books on anarchist theory and philosophy. Nikita studied surgery at Surgut State University and is fond of philosophy, literature, poetry, art, and music. He was also interested in boxing and spent a lot of time in nature.
