On July 13, Lyubov Lizunova celebrates her birthday. She turns 19 years old.
Lyuba is an anti-fascist and anarchist from Chita. Together with Alexander Snezhkov, she managed the Telegram channels “Shugan-25” and 75ZLO, which were dedicated to protest initiatives in Primorsky Krai and the Transbaikal region.
In October 2022, Lyuba was detained for graffiti that read "Death to the regime", and for posts in the aforementioned channels that expressed approval of arson attacks on military recruitment offices and sabotage on railroads. Despite being imprisoned, Lyuba remains strong — she does not lose heart. Instead, she spends her time drawing, reading, and learning French.
On April 25, 2024, the court sentenced her to 3.5 years in a penal colony.
