Anti-fascist in Kostroma, Russia lost an eye after Nazi attack

A youth from Kostroma, who was shot in the face with a rocket pistol by a neo-Nazi, lost an eye. Despite the efforts of doctors, neither his vision nor the eyeball itself could be saved.

On November 16th in Kostroma, a group of 9 neo-Nazis attacked two young men who were returning from a movie screening. During the bickering, a neo-Nazi shot a 17-year old anti-fascist in the face with a rocket pistol.

The movie screening was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the murder of anti-fascist Ivan Khutorsky by far-right terrorists. The attackers themselves were members of the neo-Nazi organization Made With Hate (MWH), which systematically beat up anti-fascists in Kostroma.

The loss of an eye leads to loss of vision and qualifies as grave harm to health, but this will have to be proven in court, as will the ideological motives for the attack. 17 year old Nazi was arrested the following day, and sent to remand prison for two months.  The victim's parents have opened a fundraiser for rehabilitation and a lawyer:
