On August 21, our dear Roma will turn 29. This will be the fourth birthday that our comrade will spend in detention.
Roma is an anarchist and antifascist from Surgut of Siberia. Together with Nikita Oleynik, another defendant in the “Tyumen case,” he created the libertarian library Burevestnik (Storm petrel), which housed books on anarchist theory and philosophy. To make it easier for you to start a conversation with Roma, you may mention some of his interests: you can write to him about animals, cars, books, history, philosophy, yoga, or Buddhism. He cares deeply about nature and loves Siberia, the place where he grew up.
Despite all the difficulties our comrade has faced in detention and his serious health problems, he remains optimistic and keeps his spirits up. We would be sincerely grateful if you wished Roma a happy birthday!
