Currently ABC-Moscow collects money for treatment activists from Izhevsk Oleg S. Six years ago, in February 2004, at the picket against the war in Chechnya was attacked Nazi skinheads. With cries of "Sieg Heil!" and "White power!" They surrounded a group of protesters and violently, with the use of reinforcement, beat two - Oleg S. and Alexander Z. Oleg received a serious head injury and three months in hospital. But after treating the condition Oleg has not stabilized.

Looking back, now in one of bulgarian prisons there is an australian antifascist Jock Palfreeman, who was charged with 20 years prison for self-defence. The hearing on his case was delayed from 21 of October to 11 of November. On this week we recieved a letter form Jock, he wrote, that it's important to to keep pressure on Bulgarian authorities in 3 months after the trial (21th of October), because
decision will be posted 2-3 months after. We call everyone to support Jock Palfreeman. Write to him and send protest letter to bulgarian authorities.

News on the case of Alexei Sokolov

In mid-November in the case of human rights activist Alexei Sokolov will be filed an application for parole. Protecting Alexei Sokolov have already started to prepare for it. Before considering the case on parole will be held rallies in support, as in Yekaterinburg, and in other cities. We encourage you to participate in support of Alexis.

Alexei Gaskarov Released from Police Custody by the Khimki Municipal Court

On October 22, Alexei Gaskarov was released from police custody in a Khimki municipal courtroom. Judge Svetlana Galanova made the decision to release Gaskarov on his own recognizance, ignoring an appeal from the prosecution to leave him in police custody. Alexei reacted by saying that he had not expected this decision because he has no faith in the Russian justice system.

October 20 a group of participants in the movement Autonomous Action of Izhevsk was made graffiti a rally of solidarity with the Moscow anti-fascists Maxim Solopova and Alexei Gaskarova passing as a defendant in the case of "Khimki forest. Khimki town court released Maxim Solopov from the arrest

Khimki town court has ruled to change the pre-trial restriction for Maxim Solopov from arrest to a written pledge not to leave town. The court lasted from 11 am to 4 pm today, October 18, with a three-hour break for preparation of the court ruling. Judge Svetlana Galanova has ruled to release Maxim Solopov from the arrest immediately in the court room.

12 to 15 of November 2010: The new Days of Action for the final and unconditional liberation of the Khimki hostages: Aleksei Gaskarov and Maxim Solopov

On the 27th and 28th of September new court sessions were held where the question of freeing Aleksei Gaskarov and Maxim Solopov, arrested on the 28th of July 2010, was dealt with. Shutting their eyes to the lack of evidence, turning their backs on public and international support for the detainees, described as “pressure on the court” by the prosecution, the Khimki judges prolonged the detention of the two social activists for two more months.

Moscow region court has canceled to decision to prolong the detention of Aleksei Gaskarov and Maxim Solopov

On the 15th of October the Moscow region court canceled the decision to prolong the detention of Aleksei Gaskarov and sent the case to the Khimki city court to be re-examined by the 27th of October. Aleksei will remain in prison during this delay.

On the 8th of October the Moscow region court made a similar decision in relation to the second remand term in the Maxim Solopov case. His case will be re-examined by the Khimki city court tomorrow, the 18th of October. He remains in prison.

Anti-fascists in the Moscow region organized a march against the arrest of Maxim Solopova

Tomorrow, Monday 18 October at 11 am, Khimki Town Court povtorono considering the petition of the investigator on the content of Maxim Solopova custody.

We remind you that on October 8 a panel of judges of the Moscow Regional Court had quashed the Khimki City Court on the content of Maxim Solopova custody, that is, at this moment Maxim Solopov in custody unlawfully.

October 14-20. Days of common solidarity actions near Belarusian Embassies

Since the beginning of September 2010 the social activists in Belarus face with unprecedented pressure. Goal of repressions is to isolate its targets from the remaining movement.  Thus it is very important to support contact with arrested comrades - even if you did not knew them personally, letters may raise spirits in difficult times of  imprisonement.

International Day of Action for Jock Palfreeman on 19th of October

    Jock Palfreeman is a 23 year old Australian who had the courage to stand up against 16 Nazis on a night out in Sofia, Bulgaria. He witnessed the fascists chasing and attacking two young Roma boys. Jock ran to the boys' aid, he did his best to keep the Nazis at bay by waving a knife at them but they attacked him. Jock was left with nowhere to run and had no choice but to defend himself. Andrey Monov, one of the Nazis, was stabbed and killed and another, Antoan Zahariev was injured. The Roma boys ran away.

    Jock has since been tried and sentenced for murder and attempted murder. He has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and has been fined 375,000 Australian dollars.

The Moscow Regional Court quashed the decision of Khimki city court to extend the detention of anti-fascist Maxim Solopova

According to information distributed by the Campaign for freedom to  Khimki hostages , October 8, a panel of judges of the Moscow regional court, chaired by Dmitry Bobkov partially upheld the complaint lawyer Maxim Solopova Yuri Eronina and annulled the decision of Khimki city court to extend the detention of Maxim Solopova until November 29, 2010. Khimki city the court must in time until October 20 to re-consider whether the content Solopova custody.

"Cops - to space!" 2, 5 years from the date of Sokolnichesky events

October 4, 2010 coincided 2 dates: 53 years ago was launched into space the first artificial satellite, 2, 5 years ago, employees of the Moscow police department Sokolniki attacked a group of non-formals. 7 of them were detained and beaten in the department. One of the battered, Seva Ostapova, Transfiguration inter-district court awarded one year suspended for alleged attack on a policeman's Sokolniki. While 20 witnesses for the defense argued that it was exactly the opposite.
