I was invited to speak, and I agreed immediately - LAB is the biggest (or perhaps secondmost biggest, after San Fransisco) anarchist bookfair in the world, could be also the biggest annual anarchist event in the world. One may only crudely estimate number of participators, as entrance is free. Free programs were handed out, with a suggested donation of one pound. 2600 pounds were collected, which is a rather good estimation of number of participators.
In "March of the millions" in Moscow 15th, nationalists attempted to invade tribune, scanning their slogans. They were met with a hail of bottles, small stones and sticks. Former leader of "Movement Against Illegal Immigration" Aleksandr Potkin was got hit with a stick, his supporters lost flags and scarfs.
Almost two months have passed since the Baltic Anarchist Meeting http://www.bam2012.org/ was organised in Tallinn of Estonia 25th-27th of May, but only now I had time to write some impressions. I haven't come across any other reports yet, but I hope they would show at some point up as I missed many of the discussions.

With a short delay we publish a short report or a mayday action in Yerevan. This was first action of a new organisation with a temporary name "Left alternative". A march through central streets of Yerevan began on from the center of capitalism in the city - Northern Street.
My friends from Hamburg wrote me that at the end of March, they would be going to the anarchist book fair in Zagreb. There was still space in the car and I decided to offer up my company, and at the same time make a presentation about repressions in Russia. The Swedish “activity money” which I get for studying is only enough to pay for a room and some food. There's not so many jobs in my city so I decided to go to Germany, by hitchhiking through Denmark, and got stuck near Copenhagen. The driver spoke in Danish, and I could only answer in my bad Swedish. The Scandinavian languages are similar, but sometimes there are difficulties in understanding.
9th of March there was a benefit evening in Lund, a student city located in Southern Sweden. One of the topics of the event was repressions against antifascists from Nizhniy Novgorod.
26th of Febryary, first freemarket, organised by anarchists, was organised in Severodvinsk of Arkhangelsk region in White sea. During freemarket, clothes, books, household equipment and food was distributed - for everyone in need, homeless people included. During freemarket, interviews were given to local press, video is to be published later. We call everyone to build alternatives to capitalist system right here and right now, a struggle for a better life should go on in every fronts - in home, in work, in education and in the street. Most important is not to be passive and to believe to ones strenght. Truth is in our side, we will win!

December 24, anarchists took part in a mass protest rally against rigged elections and the party of crooks and thieves. Speakers from the platform was told that it was attended by over 120 thousand people. Even before the rally, anarchists were victims of a provocation: approximately 13.20 7 persons with folded banners, posters and related packaged shafts were arrested without explanation in the area of the Yaroslavl station. In the ATS with them at first wanted to hold a "preventive talks" and then issue the administrative records for alleged disorderly conduct. Around 15.00, after the arrival of the department of human rights defenders arrested anarchists were released and able to take part in the rally. However, the police illegally confiscated the rallies of props, including banners and posters with the slogan "You're a condom". Perhaps the guards remembered that by a condom with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin likened the symbol of the December protests - a white ribbon.
Today, on December, 23, when capitalists divert the working class from fighting for their rights through the half-sectarian “Christmas traditions” and consumerism connected therewith, our international “Group of Anarcho-Communists” decided to remind of the sharpening of class struggles in Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as of International solidarity. In the city centre of Malmo, one of the largest cities of Sweden, we unfurled a banner “No to Nazarbayev! No to Putin!

The action was attended by different anarchist and socialist groups and organizations from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Germany, as well as some anarchists from Russia, who, in order to attract the attention of the Swedish media in relation to the ongoing protestsin Russia, handed out the following leaflets in English.

The results of the first 30 years of “democracy” in Ukraine are, to put it mildly, unconvincing. The economy and the media are in the hands of rival oligarchs, corruption is at staggering levels, economic development lags behind many African countries, and in addition, the country has become the...
